Year 6 Welcome MessageApplecroft is a fun, caring, successful and happy environment to be in. We are a special and eventful school, making everyone achieve success, as our school motto is ‘Striving to Excel’. In year 4, 5 and 6 we all get to experience residential school trips including Cuffly, Kingswood, York and PGL. On top of that we also have a whole range of sporting and extra curriculum activities. Every year, we have an Arts Week, each class is given a country to study focusing on the arts and then we also get to experience the different activities available in each class. Every Christmas we put on a Christmas Production where each Year group performs a piece to fit in with the theme of the show. This year’s theme was “Merry Musicals’ so each Year group had a part in a musical such as Grease, Bugsy Malone, and The Lion King. In year 6 you take SAT’s tests which you might think are scary but you really shouldn’t get scared because the revision is done in a calm and fun way. If you are lucky enough to come to this great school, don’t be scared because everyone looks after you in a nice and very friendly way. We will remember this school for the rest of our lives and we are very sorry to be leaving this year.
